I am very happy to be making new connections and getting the word out on oxalate! Part of that effort has been interacting more on various social media platforms. In particular, I have been more active on Twitter in the nutrition space.
I have to say that I quite like Twitter; it seems a more “democratic” social media platform, where I’m able to start up conversations with other individuals across the spectrum of nutrition and health information. To my personal delight, I’ve made some great contacts and some new friends. I’ve also had a genuine opportunity to educate and inform on oxalate, including how it can be negatively impacting your health.
One of my new contacts is Dr Eashwarran Kohilathas from the UK. After discovering each other on Twitter and finding we had much in common, Dr Kohilathas asked if I would be interested in a blog interview. I hadn’t done a blog interview before, but I was certainly intrigued!
This interview does look at more than just my professional self; the questions were good ones, often prompting me to include stories from my own personal journey, and even included a request to share my favourite book! (I won’t tell; you’ll have to read the interview to find out.)
Take a look at the interview! If you have questions, you can look me up on Twitter as @LowOxCoach1. I might just be able to hook you up with some good follows.
