Are you dealing with oxalate? Do you also have symptoms that don’t appear to be oxalate related but appear to be related to food? This is not uncommon! Many of us may have noticed symptoms when we eat certain kinds of foods – and the pattern may have nothing to do with oxalate. What is going on?
One of the possible issues we can develop concurrently (or even before) we notice oxalate issues can be related to salicylate. Salicylate is a common component of plant foods, and we can have trouble detoxing it. Some of us may have full-blown intolerance. If you are currently following a low salicylate diet (and not improving) or if you are currently following a low oxalate diet (and not improving) salicylate could be a culprit.
I’m going to be running a group coaching course which helps you to understand the overlap of salicylate and oxalate, including what foods will be safe through the types of symptoms and including the safe use of supplements. It’s starts next week on October 26th!
